2009: Challenges – 1st in a Series Challenge Completed

Another challenge completed! This one is the 1st in a Series Challenge hosted by J.Kaye. Here are the books I read:

3. The Prey – Allison Brennan (Predator series)
4. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo – Stieg Larsson (Millennium trilogy)
5. Vampire Academy – Richelle Mead (Vampire Academy series)
6. In the Woods – Tana French (Rob Ryan and Cassie Maddox series)
7. The Hunger Games – Suzanne Collins (Hunger Games trilogy)
8. Whiskey Sour – J.A. Konrath (Jack Daniels series)
9. Dead Girls Are Easy – Terri Garey (Nicki Styx series)
10. Kitty and the Midnight Hour – Carrie Vaughn (Kitty Norville series)
11. Naamah’s Kiss – Jacqueline Carey (Moirin series)
12. Courting Catherine – Nora Roberts (Calhoun Women series)

It’s so hard to choose a favorite! The Hunger Games is, of course, at the top of the list, but I would also put Naamah’s Kiss, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and Kitty and the Midnight Hour up there.  All so very different, but all so very good!

One other nice thing about this challenge is that all of these authors except for one (Nora Roberts) were new to me when I read their book.  Look at all those great new series I discovered!
