2009: Mailbox Monday – Monday #21

Three books this week!

magicalthinking peeps undomesticgoddess

All three came from PaperbackSwap.  The Year of Magical Thinking is a book club read sometime in the next 6 months.  Peeps is because I’m still collecting Scott Westerfeld books.  And The Undomestic Goddess was on the shelf of the person that had Peeps, and it was a Kinsella that didn’t involve the Shopaholic, so I decided to give it a shot.

I’m a moron that has requested a bunch of ARCs in the last week, so I expect next week’s mailbox to have a little bit more.

Mailbox Mondays are hosted by The Printed Page.

You got some great looking books! You made me laugh when you said you’re a moron, because I know that’s not true. Can’t wait to see next week’s mailbox.

I SO don’t need any more ARCs. But I couldn’t resist!

I’ve pulled back from ARCs for the summer. Working on finishing some challenges and just reading some fun books off my own shelf.

    Enjoy your books!

The Undomestic Goddess was good. Have you read Can You Keep a Secret by Sophie Kinsella? So far, that’s my favorite of hers.

I pulled way back from ARC’s these past few weeks, and felt very mature and responsible. Dang it–I’m going to get caught up…now, after the past few weeks of Mailbox Monday, I’ve gone from responsible adult to whiny jealous kid stomping my foot. To heck with responsible…I want to read these books…what WAS I thinking???

    (My name is Kelly and I’m a bookaholic…..) ;o)
