2009: #Readathon – Kickin’ it off
So here we go! Cats are fed, breakfast (bagels with cinnamon sugar) has been eaten, I’ve got a tall glass of iced tea, the husband is still in bed (he got home LATE last night), and I’ve got a stack of books beside me. It’s dark and wet and gloomy outside. Looks to me like it’s time for a Read-a-Thon!
I can guarantee now that I won’t be up reading for 24 hours… I just can’t stay up for that long. But I will push it as long as I can. I will have to take some breaks to ferry Scott to the Blacksburg Brew Do and home, and we are going to Salem (VA, not MA) for a ghost walk tonight. But I can read in the car on the way there and back.
Here’s my starting place for Hour 1:
How to Say Goodbye in Robot by Natalie Standiford – page 58 of 276
Bird by Bird by Anne Lamott – page 39 of 237
The Ultimate Weight Loss Solution by Dr. Phil McGraw – page 59 of 282
Touch the Dark by Karen Chance – Chapter 2 of 13 (it’s on my iphone, so it’s hard to gauge page number)
It’s 8:00, and the TV’s off, so here we go!
Good luck, Jaime!!
