2007: #112 – The Pillars of the Earth (Ken Follett)
Book #112 was The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett. The back of the book reads:

Phew! Epic doesn’t even begin to describe this one. I would consider this to be Follett’s masterpiece. It’s a little slow in parts, but soon you find yourself so sucked into it that you can’t stop. William is an outstanding villain — just when you think he can’t do worse, he does. And Phillip is very compelling as a monk who does not always make the right decisions. His own struggles with right and wrong are a perfect mirror of the struggles between church and state. I’m curious to see if the sequel, World Without End, lives up to Pillars.

“Chasing the Dead” by Joe Schreiber was pretty good! There was only one part that miffed me and that was when the lead, a female, was listening her body go snap, crackle, pop, she still managed enough strength to do all sorts of stuff that had me going “BULL!”

Looking at your WordPress blog, yes, it’s way prettier. It’s just hard for me to figure out how to do the sidebars. 🙂 I think there is a book out on how to do WordPress…lol! If there is a book, then it’s not just me that’s slow…lol!
